Tip Number 6: Distance versus Stronger
Here are 2 paintings to illustrate the difference between a lovely typical watercolour distance and a clearer, crisper, more colourful view.
The first allows for the dreamy, slightly out of focus distance while the second one cuts out any ariel perspective, bringing the mountains much closer.
Both are equally good, (and fun!) It all depends on your choice of atmosphere. This just shows that it could make quite a difference to your finished painting.
